Guest speaker is McConnell's own historian
MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Steve Larsen, 22nd Air Refueling Wing historian, speaks to Team McConnell members Aug. 24 about current post-command issues. Mr. Larsen spoke to McConnell members as part of the education center’s Guest Speaker Series, which is a program open to all McConnell personnel that features free educational presentations primarily from speakers from learning institutions across Wichita. However, the next and final speaker in this year’s series will be Ambassador Paul Bremer, author and former administrator of the Coalition Provisional Authority, from Washington. His expertise is on terrorism and homeland security. The ambassador will give his presentation Sept. 15 during the 60th Anniversary Air Force Ball, which is scheduled from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Century II Convention Center in Wichita.
