Scott Schindler, 22nd Maintenance Operations Squadron, and spouse Lanee Schindler Sept. 2 at their home for winning Southwind Housing Yard of the Month at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., for August. Yard of the month winners earn the award for having the best-looking or kept yard in housing for that month. The competition is annual and runs from May to September.
