Staff Sgt. Dallas Swalla, a 22nd Medical Operations Squadron immunization technician, administers an Anthrax shot to Col. Donald J. Halpin, 22nd Air Refueling Wing commander, here March 22. The Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program is once again mandatory for all Department of Defense servicemembers and civilians within 60 days of travel to Korea or the military area of responsibility. The anthrax vaccine is required for all personnel assigned to: Central Command area of responsibility for more than 15 days; Korean Peninsula for more than 15 days; Special units with bio warfare or bio terrorism related missions and specialty units with approved exception to policy.
