Black Eye Campaign
Senior Airman Jessica Hudson, 22nd Air Refueling Wing community support coordinator and violence prevention integrator assistant, displays a faux bruise on her eye Oct. 30, 2019, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The Black Eye Campaign, hosted by McConnell’s Violence Prevention team, enabled volunteers to spend the day wearing a black eye in the hopes starting conversations and informing others of the stigmas surrounding domestic violence.
