Joint Base MDL evacuates aircraft
Six KC-135 Stratotankers from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakenhurst, N.J., relocated to McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., Oct. 27, 2012 in preparation for Hurricane Sandy. Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakenhurst has declared an emergency status of HURC...ON III meaning the base is expecting the arrival of 50 knot winds within 48 hours.
