KC-46 performs first operational long-endurance flight
A KC-135 Stratotanker from Fairchild Air Force Base, Washington, flies over a McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas, KC-46A Pegasus in preparation for in-flight refueling, in the Indo-Pacific, Dec. 17, 2022. During in-flight refueling the KC-46A Pegasus was able to onload more than 100,000 pounds of fuel from the KC-135 Stratotanker, supporting long-range strike capabilities.
