MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Ambassador L. Paul Bremer III speaks to the 720 guests in attendance at the 60th Anniversary Air Force Ball, Sept. 15 at the Century II Convention center, Wichita. Team McConnell members walk around the base track Sept. 11 during a Freedom Walk event to honor the lives lost during the 9/11 attacks six years ago. According to the Department of Defense, the America Support You Freedom Walk has become a national tradition for people to renew their commitment to freedom, and to honor its veterans, past and present.
