Ricky Rupp, 22nd Air Refueling Wing commander, as the Air Mobility Command’s Command Chief Airman of the Week June 25, 2012, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. One reason Pylant was selected for the award is the amount of time, in excess of 90 hours, that he volunteered to seven different Humanitarian Assistance trips handing out $300,000 worth of aid to six villages during his deployment to Kyrgyzstan.
