Airman 1st Class Joshua Neal, 22nd Operations Support Squadron air traffic controller, amends a flight plan July 7, 2011, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. McConnell’s air traffic controllers organize the flow of air traffic on the ground as well and communicate with other ATC’s to manage 50,000 square miles of air space.
