McConnell welcomes WWII veterans

Team McConnell Members welcome World War II veterans after a trip to Washington, D.C. April 22, 2011, Wichita, Kan. A total of 185 veterans and guardians from the Central Prairie Honor Flight regional hub were greeted by more than 250 people including active duty, Guard and Reserve military members, American Legion Riders and local Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps members. The Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. They transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit memorials dedicated to honor their service. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Airman 1st Class Laura Valentine)
