Air traffic controllers manage McConnell’s air space

Airman 1st Class Josh Neal and Airman Eric Emmanuel, 22nd Operations Support Squadron air traffic controllers, operate a scenario using the airfield simulator Oct. 12, 2010, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The simulator replicates McConnell’s airfield, helping trainees learn the base's air space and airfield operations. This training helps prepare Airmen for any civilian, commercial or military aircraft in range that needs assistance, both here and while deployed.
