Dole Community Center July 30, 2010, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The Red Cross has a contract with the Air Force; for every five pints donated the Air Force will receive one credit. That one credit of blood is worth $250 donated back to the military. The more donations McConnell acquires the more money the Air Force receives to use to save as many Airmen’s lives as possible.
