Airmen attend Happy Hour

Airman 1st Class Nicholas Crabtree, 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron supply management apprentice, purchases a book called, “I Killed,” from Bernie McGrenahan, comedian, after the comedy show “Happy Hour,” at the Robert J. Dole Community Center ballroom Aug. 2, 2010, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. The “Happy Hour” tour covers the number one substance abuse problem for military installations today--high-risk drinking. After opening the show with his stand-up comedy routine, Bernie shared the facts of how his college partying got “out of control” and how he turned his life in a positive direction. McConnell AFB leadership continually research and take advantage of new ways to educate Airmen about living a healthy lifestyle, taking care of their wingmen and their families.
