McConnell Airmen recognized at River Festival ceremony

Col. Jamie Crowhurst, 22nd Air Refueling Wing commander, asks for input from Ardon, 9 months old, about his feelings on his father’s recent deployment as his parents Senior Airman Stephen Booth, 22nd Security Forces Squadron vehicle control NCO, and Laura look on, May 15, 2010, at a River Festival military recognition ceremony held at Century II in downtown Wichita, Kan. The Booth family was one of several families recognized in McConnell’s Year of the Air Force Family Recognition program. The program was developed in conjunction with the Air Force’s designation of 2010 as the Year of the Air Force Family. As a result, McConnell’s Airmen and Family Readiness Center developed a program to recognize McConnell’s outstanding military families. McConnell’s AFRC provides support for more than 16,000 base personnel and dependents. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Chyrece Campbell)
