JROTC tour mentors future leaders

Members of the McConnell’s Honor Guard demonstrate a six-man flag fold for Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets from Wichita public middle schools during a base orientation April 14, 2010, McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. In addition to the honor guard, the students toured a KC-135 Stratotanker, processed through a mobility line, visited the base dormitories and viewed instructional equipment at the medical group. The orientation provided the cadets a first-hand look at day-to-day military operations. (U.S. Air Force photo/2nd Lt. Nicholas Mercurio)
