McConnell kicks off Open House with picnic

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Todd Woodburn, a Wichita Wagonmasters member, flips hamburgers during the McConnell Open House picnic July 13 at the Robert J. Dole Community Center. Members of the Wichita Wagonmasters, a local, civic group, cooked food for McConnell members during the picnic. The base held the picnic to honor military members and their families. Approximately 1,800 people attended the event. The picnic featured several aerial demonstrations including performances from the F-16 Viper West Team, the Navy Blue Angels, and the Army Golden Knights. (Photo by Airman 1st Class Roy Lynch)
