Master Chief retires after 30 years of service

NAVY OPERATIONAL SUPPORT CENTER, Kan. -- Navy Master Chief Petty Officer Ricke Whiteside and his wife,Trina, render honors as they pipe through side boys at the conclusion of Chief Whiteside’s traditional Navy retirement ceremony held April 15 at the Navy Operational Support Center, Wichita. Master Chief Whiteside retired after completing 30 years of naval service. Chief Whiteside currently resides in El Dorado, Kan., and is employed by the El Dorado Fire Department as a fire captain.
