How to make an exercise successful

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. -- Staff Sgt. Gary Shamlian, 349th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, guides a 22nd Logistics Readiness Squadron Airman to the proper height a cargo loader needs to get to safely load cargo pallets onto a KC-135 Stratotanker in support of a multi lateral exercise, April 15. With the help of rotating wheel brackets, cargo can easily be loaded and guided into McConnell aircraft and securely locked in place for transport. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Ronald Lafosse)
