KC-46A Pegasus groundbreaking ceremony

Gen. Darren McDew, Air Mobility Command commander, addresses the men and women of McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., on June 30, 2014. He spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony for the KC-46A Pegasus. The ceremony symbolized that construction has officially started on the flightline to install new KC-46A maintenance facilities. The new tanker will help expand the Air Force's war-fighting capabilities supporting the Navy, Army, Marine Corps as well as allied nation coalition forces and even other KC-46As.
