SERE NCOs keep McConnell Airmen trained

Capt. Jesse Prater, 344th Air Refueling Squadron pilot, looks for the life raft as he and several other Airmen swim while “chained up” Oct. 8, 2013, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. This maneuver is designed to provide maximum swimming efficiency in the water while keeping survivors together. Airmen were participating in a water survival course, part of their mandatory survival, evasion, resistance and escape refresher training. (U.S Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Victor J. Caputo)
