Derby North Middle School will open the doors to students Aug. 13, 2015, in Derby, Kan. Leaders from McConnell Air Force Base were invited to tour the facilities after the recent construction. During the tour, the base leaders were able to converse with and ask school officials about the school as well as what it will provide for service member’s children.
