Efficient process minimizes impact of fuel spill

Kristi Draney, left, 22nd Civil Engineer Squadron environmental element chief, discusses the clean-up process of a fuel spill with three contractors, Sept. 25, 2015, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. Several hundred gallons of fuel leaked from a KC-135 Stratotanker the morning of the Sept. 25, and multiple agencies on McConnell and the local community worked together to quickly contain and start to clean the spill.
