22nd AMXS Airman earns 2014 Specialized Mission Award

Staff Sgt. Anthony Calderone, left, Tech. Sgt. Nathan Ruggles, and Staff Sgt. Zachary Pollard represent the diversity of the KC-135 Stratotanker crew chiefs from McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas and Lincoln Air Field, Nebraska, during Red Flag 15-2 at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada on March 4, 2014. Calderone, Ruggles and Pollard are leaders from their respective bases, working together at Red Flag 15-2 to complete the KC-135 Stratotanker training mission. Calderone was recently awarded the Airlift/Tanker Association 2014 Specialized Mission Award for extraordinarily significant performance of duties in support of an aerial air mobility mission.
