Staying Safe with AFE
Senior Airman Shawn Tickner, 22nd Operations Support Squadron aircrew flight equipment technician, connects a carbon dioxide cylinder to a life raft March 25, 2020, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. In an emergency situation, the cylinder has the capability to inflate the raft within 60 seconds to keep the aircrew out of harm's way until a rescue team arrives.
