Tech. Sgt. Lucas Treat, 349th Air Refueling Squadron boom operator, carries engine covers in a KC-135 Stratotanker Apr. 8, 2020 at McConnell Air Force Base, Kansas. The deploying aircrew will fly a 16 hour direct flight to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The KC-135 has the capability of traveling 1,500 miles with 150,000 pounds of transfer fuel.
