A new breed of pilot
Second Lt. Alisson Moraes, 14th Student Squadron undergraduate pilot training graduate, receives a unit patch from Lt. Col. Theodore Fisher, 344th Air Refueling Squadron operations officer, during a tour of the KC-46A Pegasus Sept. 25, 2020, at Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. Moraes moved from Belo Horizonte, Brazil to Newark, New Jersey as a teenager, where he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the age of 18.
