Maintenance commander outruns cancer
Maj. Patrick Cain, 22nd Maintenance Squadron commander, left, runs with Lt. Col Duane Richardson, 22nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron commander, at a 5k race, Nov. 14, 2015, at Wichita, Kan. Cain was diagnosed with stage three colorectal cancer on Aug. 15, 2015. Can ran the 5k while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Maintenance commander outruns cancer
The family of Maj. Patrick Cain, 22nd Maintenance Squadron commander, hold up a sign at the Strut-4-Guts 5k race, Nov. 14, 2015, at Wichita, Kan. Cain, an avid long distance runner, was officially declared in remission June 7, 2016, after almost a year battle with colorectal cancer.
