Enjoy a girl’s night out

MCCONNELL AIR FORCE BASE, Kan. --  Force support squadron is scheduled to host a Girls Night Out event in the Robert J. Dole Community Center ballroom from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 23.

Activities include food samples, door prizes, free massages, shopping and educational booths.

"We have this event to get Team McConnell women together for an evening of fun, and to introduce them to local vendors and businesses that can help them in their everyday lives," said Fe Vorderlandwehr, 22nd Force Support Squadron community activity center and commercial sponsorship coordinator.

Some booths scheduled for the event include cooking, jewelry, makeup and children's clothing.

Tickets are available at the Information Travel and Transportation office for $5 in advance or $7 at the door.
