Free passes for active duty members and their families
National Park Service passes are now being offered to active duty military members free. The annual pass grants access to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites. Each pass covers entrance fees at national parks and national wildlife refuges as well as standard amenity fees at national forests and grasslands, and at lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation. A pass covers entrance and standard amenity fees for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle at per vehicle fee areas (or up to four adults at sites that charge per person). CATM off limits
The base firing range is strictly off limits to personnel unless in training. Normal duty hours are Monday - Friday 0730 - 1630 and guard/reserve weekends.
MDCB restricts local businesses as off limits to Airmen
The McConnell Disciplinary Control Board has ordered the following facilities in Wichita off limits to McConnell Airmen effective immediately due to circumstances deemed unsafe for military members and their families.
Airmen violating this order will be subjected to disciplinary actions for violating Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.
