22nd ARW member earns spotlight performer

Senior Airman Kristin Bailey, 22nd Air Refueling Wing Command Post controller, has been in the Air Force for three years. She has been at McConnell for two years and three months. In her free time, the Virginia Beach, Va., native enjoys playing soccer.

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
The most positive influence in my life is my mom. She raised all three of her kids by herself. She is a very strong and independent woman.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
I would like to finish my bachelor's degree and start my master's in the next three years.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
Iceland is the most interesting place I have been because I got to see a whole new country and experience a different culture than what I was used to.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite books are the "Harry Potter" series. I started reading them when I was in fifth grade and had to finish the series.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I would like to meet Maya Angelou. She is a very influential person and a strong writer.
