Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My adoptive parents because they took me in when I was at one of my lowest points. They gave me love and a purpose and showed me what family is all about. I don't know where I would be without them.

What would you like to accomplish during your Air Force career?
Honestly, what I would like to accomplish is to get as much experience as I can. The current plan is to stay in the full 20 years and make chief if I can. Regardless of how many years I stay in, or what rank I make, I just want to do the best I can, represent the Air Force properly, travel and learn as much as I can.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
When I was younger my grandparents took me on a mission trip around Europe. We visited Romania, Austria, Hungry, Poland, Germany and Transylvania. When we weren't working we did the normal touristy things, visiting the points of interest, eating as much food as possible, visiting museums, etc. What made that trip impressionable was that we stayed with the people in their homes. I got to experience how the "poor" families lived and learned that money doesn't really mean anything and it doesn't bring you happiness -- loving relationships do.

What is your favorite book/ movie and why?
My favorite book is "The Shack" by William P. Young. It provided a different (religious) look to tragedy and the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Ghost). Currently, my favorite movie is "Despicable Me." I always get a good laugh. My favorite movie of all time: is "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers." When I was younger, my grandpa and I would watch it together.

If you have the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
There is no particular person I want to meet. I like meeting new people in general, especially those that have different views than me.
