As a spotlight performer, individuals are chosen by leadership for demonstrating the Air Force's Core Values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do.

Airman 1st Class Jundra Asberry, 22nd Maintenance Operations Squadron management production journeyman, was selected to be the 22nd Air Refueling Wing spotlight performer for the week of June 15 to 19.

As a management production journeyman, she is required to plan and schedule the maintenance for the aircraft assigned to the wing. She is also responsible for documenting all the maintenance that has already been performed on the aircraft.

Asberry has been stationed at McConnell for a year and a half, and in the Air Force for almost two years. When she's not working, she enjoys singing, dancing, cooking and bowling.

"Every day she takes pride in all of the products that she completes," said Capt. Antonio Rodriguez, 22nd Maintenance Group executive officer, "and her unparalleled attention to detail has contributed to a 99.7 percent maintenance scheduling effectiveness rate for the 22nd ARW. Her positive attitude shines through the day and is an asset in the workplace."

Who is the most positive influence in your life and why?
My parents would be the most positive influence in my life simply because they've taught me to never settle for less and always to push for more.

If you could give advice to a new Airman, what would it be and why?
If I could give advice to new Airmen, I would tell them to listen to higher authority. Someone with a little more experience can always lend a helping hand at some point.

What is one goal that you have already accomplished, or would like to accomplish, during your Air Force career?
One goal that I would like to accomplish is to complete my Community College of the Air Force degree before the year is over.

Where is the most interesting place you have traveled and why do you feel that way?
The most interesting place I've been would be Brooklyn, N.Y. It's like a whole different setting than what I am use to hearing in the south. Their accents and the way the city is set up are pretty neat.

If you had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
If I had the opportunity to meet anyone in the world it would be Beyonce. I love her as an entertainer and she's so professional and respectful. I've loved everything she's been a part of for as long as I can remember.
