Team McConnell takes the KC-46 on its first extended mission
Members of Team McConnell fly a KC-46A Pegasus above another KC-46 during an extended mission in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region on Oct. 23, 2020. This was the first time the KC-46 had flown an extended a self-sustained mission into the region. The center is cleaned daily by the team of 15 Airmen who, re-rack weights, ensure all equipment is sanitized and do laundry hourly. The Four Chaplains Ceremony
The Four Chaplains were recognized for their service and sacrifice during The Four Chaplains Ceremony Feb. 12, 2019, at McConnell Air Force Base, Kan. In 1943, the chaplain’s transport ship was hit by a torpedo from a German submarine.
